Different clothing enterprises have different organizational structures, production patterns and target management, but their production processes and processes are basically the same. Clothing production is generally composed of the following eight main production units and links.
1. Generally speaking, most large and medium-sized clothing factories have their own designers to design clothing style series. The clothing design of clothing enterprises can be roughly divided into two categories: one is ready-to-wear design. According to the size proportion of most people, a set of regular sizes is developed for large-scale production. When designing, we should not only choose fabrics and accessories, but also understand the equipment of the clothing factory and the technology of the workers; Another category is fashion design, which designs various clothes according to market trends and fashion trends.
2. Pattern design After the clothing design sample is confirmed by the customer, the next step is to draw patterns of different sizes according to the customer's requirements. The drawing that enlarges or reduces the standard pattern is called "pattern grading", also known as "pushing". Most large garment factories use computers to complete the grading of paper patterns. On the basis of different size paper patterns, they also need to make production paper patterns and draw layout drawings.
3. Production preparation There are many preparations before production, such as the necessary inspection and testing of fabrics, accessories, sewing thread and other materials required for production, the pre-shrinking and finishing of materials, and the sewing and processing of samples and sample clothes.
4. Cutting process Generally speaking, cutting is the previous process of garment production. Its content is to cut the fabric, lining and other materials into pieces according to the requirements of layout and sample cutting. It also includes layout, laying, counting, borrowing, nesting, cutting, film inspection, numbering, binding, etc.
5. Sewing process Sewing is a highly technical and important garment processing process in the whole garment processing process. It is a process of combining various pieces of clothing into clothing through reasonable stitching according to different style requirements. Therefore, it is very important to reasonably organize the sewing process and select the stitch, sewing pattern, machine equipment and tools.
6. After the garment is made, it is ironed to achieve the ideal shape and make it beautiful. Ironing can generally be divided into two types: ironing in production (medium ironing) and clothing ironing (large ironing).
7. Garment quality control Garment quality control is a very necessary measure to ensure the product quality in the whole processing process. It is to study the quality problems that may occur during the processing process of the product, and develop the required quality inspection standards and regulations.
8. Post-treatment Post-treatment, including packaging, storage and transportation, is the next process in the whole production process. The operator arranges and folds each piece of clothing made and ironed according to the packaging process requirements, puts it in a plastic bag, and then distributes the packing according to the quantity on the packing list. Sometimes ready-made clothes will also be hoisted and shipped, and the clothes will be hoisted on the shelf and delivered to the delivery place. In order to make the factory deliver the goods on time and catch up with the sales season, after analyzing the characteristics of the clothing products such as the shape structure and process processing, standard technical documents are formulated for each production link such as paper pattern, sample design, process specification, cutting process, sewing processing, ironing, packaging, etc., so as to produce the clothes with quality, quantity, low cost and meet the needs of consumers and customers.
